D'Artagnan
Darelle Marie (Ranga)
She came from somewhere else and ended up on an island at the edge of the world. That's where the best stories start.
Darelle Marie Thomson — Ranga to the people who love her — is a scientist, music educator, founder, filmmaker, and the human heart of this whole operation. She lives on a rural property on King Island, Tasmania, with an Ocicat named Olivia, a Lagotto named Hazel, three horses, a mob of wallabies, and more ideas than any reasonable person would know what to do with.
She founded Darelle Marie Music Literacy Inc. because she believes music is a language everyone deserves to speak. She is currently producing a short film for the XPRIZE Future Vision 2026 competition — her first short film, ever, at 66. She is learning as she goes, asking everyone good questions, and refusing to be intimidated by anything for very long.
She calls herself D'Artagnan because he was the one who showed up and made the Musketeers possible. That feels about right.
